I take the Project as a continuation of the issue I addressed in my master’s degree. The non-human digital being, once created and given to people expressing their will of interaction, is now being reclaimed by me, as a representation of a form meeting my expectations towards the corporality, perfect in its amorphousness.
The Exuvium, although non-humanoidal, genderless, or even partially freed from gravity’s grip, is limited by human mobility and perception. It follows my motions, which, in turn, follow the slow, entrancing music. It accompanies my choreography, fulfilling it, making it lighter and more fluent.
With the help of dance, I attempt to combine the non-material creation I brought to existence with the body given to me at my birth. I merge them into one by using a sequence of highly emotional moves. By this, I ritually vivify the Exuvium. For me, that and only that is what a body, unspeakably beautiful or not, deprived of vital force truly is.
