Creatures one can find in dark, mysterious spaces seem unpleasant only at first glance. Being observed for a while, they appear to be sensible beings with friendly attitudes towards the spectator. Their metallic, glittering bodies with no sharp edges move calmly.
The creatures crave love. Having established eye contact, they head towards the spectator and surround him in increasingly larger numbers, ready to engage in communication.

From the visual point of view, my idea was to deconstruct the queer aesthetics. I rejected the colorful modernity, turning instead towards primal yet cosmic figures. The creatures of various shapes and sizes were standardized to match the material of the immerser’s hands. After that, I placed them in a cold, misty landscape keeping the entire surrounding reality in the colors of the flag of transgender people.
The concept of the project stems from a few issues important to me: empathy towards the non-human; the reflection on our internal wildness; finally, the search for diversity, but also the sense of community with those who seemingly are so different from us.
